dashica big sdp - u and gradient
for this one i used opi - my vampire is buff for my base color. i then sponged butter london - cheeky chops, china glaze - snap my dragon, and china glaze bizarre blurple. once dried i stamped with an image from dashica's big sdp - u plate. excuse the lint from cotton on the plate.
i'm really happy with the gradient, it's probably the best one i've ever done. i did dampen the sponge, i hadn't tried that with previous gradients, so that has to be what made the difference.

dashica big sdp u
i was excited to get this order. i purchased several plates and some stamping polishes from dashica.
the image below is from the big sdp u plate.
the polish worked perfectly for stamping. with any stamping i've done before i have only used cult nails - nevermore, so having some colored polishes will be a nice change.
for the base color i used 3 thin coats of nail nation 3000 - eleanora. the post for that polish without a stamp is here. 1 coat of seche vite was used over the whole thing.
if anyone wants to see specific images from the dashica plates stamped, let me know. i have the big sdp plates in D, F, P, K, J, L, U, V. i wouldn't mind ordering some more, there are so many designs that are totally my style on other plates.
shipping was pretty fast. i ordered on june 28th and everything was delivered to mom's on july 6th.
i totally need to work on practicing how to line up half/french tip images. that, and longer nails would help ;)

nail nation 3000 - a mid summer nights dream
quick post before i get offline for the night and get junk ready for work this weekend :(
2 coats of a mid summer nights dream. wore this alone yesterday. then today i decided to stamp. the image was off of the drk-a plate, i used barry m's silver foil polish to stamp with. i currently have fnug's igel topcoat over the top. it didn't smudge the stamping at all, which is good to know.

drk-b stamping and china glaze gradient
the drk-b plate was purchased from ninjapolish.com i did a sponged gradient with china glaze - mimosas before manis and snap my dragon. the black used to stamp with is cult nails - nevermore.
the gradient was kind of hard to capture on camera. it definitely was there though :P
the smudging that happened on this one was my fault, i didn't wait long enough to add seche vite. the image stamped perfectly.

nail nation 3000 - pink-tastic and stamping drk-c
first off...lucy says haiiii!
she's my princess
for this manicure i used 1 coat of cult nails - nevermore and stamped using nail nation 3000 - pink-tastic. 1 coat of seche vite. the image used was from the drk-c plate. i'm seriously loving stamping, i might need to take a break from glitter and just do a bunch of stamping now that i have a few good plates.
i still don't have a cleanup brush, so excuse any random polish that is at a place where it should have been cleaned up lol

ninja polish - pacific coral and drk-a stamping
very quick post. the base color used for this was pacific coral by ninja polish. the stamping plate was also purchased from them. their site is here.
the black i used to stamp was cult nails nevermore. 1 coat of seche vite was used for my topcoat.
i just stamped random images from this plate and i'm happy with how it turned out. every image picked up with no issue and transferred fine.
i do need to get a new cleanup brush, the bristles on the one i have now are going bad, so cleanup for this was done with a qtip, sorry that it's not the best cleanup.

stamped candy corn
i was wanting to do a stamped halloween manicure using pretty & polished - candy corn. n this is a polish that changes based on temperature, sometimes its all yellow, sometimes all orange, or like this; faded together.
i started out with bundle monster plates....they wouldn't pick up with either my konad stamper or the xl stamper from llarowe, so those got ditched pretty fast. i tried the smallest tree on the llarowe plates, however they were too big for my nails since i just had cut them down, so i decided just to pick a random image and go with it.
i started using the HITS stamping polish, then decided to try out cult nails - nevermore. i honestly can't tell the difference. my middle and ring finger are HITS, the rest are nevermore.
this is 3 layers of candy corn, no base color used.
this is the image i used.

pretty & polished - day trippin'
this was purchased from llarowe.
after seeing pictures on llarowe's facebook page i knew i wanted to stamp with this when i finally picked it up from my parents. the black i used is from hits.
i used an image from llarowe's stamping plate a.
pretty & polished site is located here.
blah, the black stained around my cuticles while cleaning it up. oh well.

manipulative stamped
last week my stamping plates from llarowe had arrived at my parents. there was a bit of a wait with them, but that's fine. i'll gladly wait for some epic nail mail ;) in the same package was a lot of the new picture polish colors as well as some pretty and polished and 2 of the new enchanted polish colors. i have a package waiting to be picked up at the post office with the other new enchanted polishes i was able to grab. pics of those will be posted once i have everything.
with this manicure i used cult nails manipulative, stamped with the hits stamping polish carried by ninja polish. i picked up a couple of colors of that when i bought their facets collection. the stamping polish is awesome, really pigmented so picking up the color wasn't a problem.
these stamping plates are the best things i've tried so far. i do have a set of the bundle monster plates, however with my nails being longer they've never really worked when i've tried them. also their etching seems to be not as deep as the images on llarowe's plates.
when i first got these i tried out 10 different stamps just for the hell of it. my nails looked like a mess with nothing matching and stamping a green over a hot pink, but i couldn't wait to get home from my parent's to try an actual manicure.
i somehow smudged my ring finger on my left hand...totally my fault while stamping. the stamper and the image plates are perfect. i also like that llarowe is selling a plastic scraper and not a metal one like the konad one i have to use with my BM plates. if you're not careful the plates will get scratched with the metal.
