my camera kept wanting to capture only the copper/red color on this. the flash to green in person is really really obvious.
i wanted to try secret sauce, made by enchanted polish, over something other than black, so i grabbed swanbourne by cult nails. this is a dark brown with golden shimmer.
i really love how this looks in person. maybe if i wait until the sun comes around to my side of the apartment building i can properly catch it....but by that time i'll probably be in bed. booo for working weekends and having to go to bed early.
secret sauce is carried by llarowe. swanbourne is at here at cult nails.

cult nails water marble
for this i used all cult nails products. the purple is my kind of cool aid, the black is nevermore, and the goldish shimmer is baker.
these spread really well on the water, though my water wasn't quite room temp, so next time i do this i'll be sure to leave it sit out a lot longer. the amount of shimmer in these that spread out over the water while dropping colors in is crazy. it looked really cool.
nevermore is perfect for doing water marbles. other blacks that i have used tend to really fade out. that wasn't the case with nevermore.
really really happy with how these turned out.
ugh, angry cuticles :( and trying to take a picture of your right hand is pretty akward...

cult nails - toxic seaweed
i have had this on the last few days. really love the coppery shimmer that it has.
no basecoat, 2 coats - could have probably done a 3rd thin one, but 2 was looking good, seche vite topcoat.
indoors with flash:

china glaze water marble - neons
this was done using colors from the summer neon collection. i used sun-kissed, orange you hot, love's a beach and some old sally hansen black i had. i haven't done a marble in a while since my nails were cut way down, but they're back to where i can start doing them and not have it look so smushed together.
left hand:
right
you really can't tell pink was used, it turned inot the darker orange. i still like how it turned out, so i'm ok with that.

enchanted polish - octopus's garden
had to trim these down a bit, broke the one on my middle finger. they are at the point though where they grow really fast, so i'm guessing by next week they'll be back to where they were with the last photos again.
anyhow, this is a gorgeous color from enchanted polish called octopus's garden. i purchased this from llarowe. i swear i need to just give leah ann my debit card number and have her just charge me automatically. she seriously carries some of the best colors i've bought since i've started caring about my nails again.
i couldn't get a good pic of this without flash, the sun isn't out on my side of the building today, but this does shift to a really pretty orange-ish color also. you can kinda see it in the first bottle picture.
love love love the color in the next two:

cult nails - time traveler and girly bits - wet bikini
i've had this on for a few days now, base is cult nails get it on, 2 coats of cult nails time traveler, 2 coats of girly bits wet bikini and 1 coat of gelous to smooth out the glitter.
time traveler really surprised me. it went on gorgeous with really even coverage.
so glad i added wet bikini to one of my last orders from llarowe, i can see reaching for it often. i look forward to eventually trying out more girly bits polishes.
the color is more gorgeous in person. the weather here has been cloudy and overcast so i've not been able to get a good shot of it in sunlight. the pics below are all indoor with flash.
slightly blurry, but this does show the gorgeous color that kept getting washed out with the straight on flash.
